Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Renewable Energy (Solar Projects)

Job Overview:
CozenTech is excited to present an exclusive opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of solar energy projects based in Ashland, VA. This is a high-priority role for an experienced professional who can manage all aspects of solar construction from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing construction teams, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring projects meet industry standards, on-time delivery, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site construction activities, including scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor management for solar energy projects.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, OSHA standards, and safety protocols.
Monitor project progress and address issues or delays, in collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
Maintain accurate construction documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient project completion.
Supervise and provide guidance to construction crew members, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
Manage project budgets, monitor labor and material costs, and oversee project timelines.
Travel to various solar energy project sites as required for on-site management.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar on-site management role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry regulations, particularly in renewable energy.
Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
OSHA certification and comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols in construction environments.
Electrical License (preferred but not mandatory).
Renewable energy experience, especially in solar construction, is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
